Rail infrastructure specialists Spencer Group have shared their latest update on the White Rose Railway Station’s progress.
Using drone footage to provide an aerial view of the site, the station situated on the Leeds-Manchester TransPennine route is starting to take shape.
Even now, it’s possible to see how the new station will meld seamlessly with existing infrastructure and introduce improved access between the surrounding areas of Cottingley, Churwell and Millshaw, and the White Rose Shopping Centre and the bus interchange.
We’re excited to see how the station appears from another perspective and share the footage captured by Spencer Group detailing their work. As progress is expected to continue into early 2023, viewing the foundations of this exciting project is a rare moment in the early stages that won’t be seen again for some time.
