To raise money for Leeds and Bradford Lord Mayor’s Appeals; on Thursday 21st December, at 3:30pm, Kersten England, Chief Executive of Metropolitan District Council and Tom Riordan, Chief Executive of Leeds City Council will lead a festive Grand Depart of reindeer adorned bikes from City Square in Leeds, along the Leeds to Bradford Cycle Superhighway to City Park in Bradford.
Joined by 60 outriders, this charity Reindeer Ride is sure to create a memorable procession along Leeds to Bradford Cycle Superhighway, as they ride to raise much needed funds for Candlelighters, the children’s cancer charity, Down Syndrome Training & Support and the Wishing Well Appeal.
Sports stars, former New Zealand Rugby League International, Robbie Paul and former England cricketer Ryan Sidebottom will take part in the procession, with support from Bradford Bulls and Yorkshire Cricket Club also. They will be joined by invited members of the cycling community, as well as other invited guests, and there’s a rumour even Santa and his elf will be coming along for the ride…
