David Aspin, CEO of Munroe K and owner of the White Rose Office Park in Leeds said:
“We are creating a thriving Business and Educational hub at the White Rose Office Park along with both the White Rose Shopping Centre owned by Land Securities and the Millshaw Industrial Estate owned by Schroders.
All of us are looking to tap into the vast potential for economic growth in the surrounding area and to do this we need the best possible transport infrastructure in place. The provision of a new railway station is fundamental to achieving this vital objective and I fully support this exciting proposal being promoted by Leeds City Council, who are showing really forward thinking leadership on this important issue.
This landmark investment in local transport links will support several hundred new jobs which will be created in and around the White Rose Office Park as well as helping to ease congestion on surrounding roads.
We look forward to seeing the plans progress and to the major difference this will make to those working here both now and in the future as well as to the local community.”
