KLM airplane

In the past twelve months, Leeds’ transport links have improved at an impressive rate making it now a central hub for travelling not only across the United Kingdom but also Europe, and these improvements are only set to continue over 2016.

Additional flights from Leeds Bradford International Airport added

In the coming year, Leeds Bradford Airport is increasing the regularity of flights to multiple destinations. Two new airlines will be flying from Leeds Bradford Airport: Vueling airline flying to Barcelona and Aurigny airline linking Yorkshire to Guernsey. KLM airline will now also operate four-weekday services to Amsterdam, with Eastern Airways also providing flights at an increased frequency of four-weekday services to Southampton.

Leeds Train Station southern entrance opens

Additionally, the new southern entrance to Leeds Railway Station opened early in January. The station is the second busiest outside London and the new entrance will service one fifth of the 100,000 daily visitors while connecting the station to the south of the city, an area that has seen substantial growth and regeneration in recent years.

Councillor Peter Box said of the project:

“…I think it’s a good investment for, not just the people of Leeds, but for the whole of West Yorkshire.”

White Rose Office Park to launch new commuter service

Closer to home, White Rose Office Park is set to launch their own private shuttle service offering fast, economical and comfortable journeys, either one way or return, between a drop-off point of the customer’s choice. This service provides visitors to the park with a stress-free way of commuting from Leeds Bradford Airport or Leeds City Railway Station, for example, taking them directly to the park.

With such improvements in transport links for Leeds City, the new Shuttle service at White Rose Office Park along with excellent pre-existing rail, bus and cycle network links to the park, White Rose Office Park is a natural choice for any business operating nationally or internationally.
