Looking ahead to MIPIM 2019: The 30th Edition

Between March 12-15 2019, MIPIM will take place again in Cannes, France as the event celebrates its 30th anniversary. The international property event will once again welcome the biggest worldwide real estate companies and partnerships to showcase the best property development projects to investors.

MIPIM 2018 proved to be another fantastic event for Leeds City Region, and as the Enterprise Partnership gears up to attend the 2019 event in a couple of months, we look forward to another display of just how strong the Leeds region is a global player in property development.

About MIPIM

MIPIM has grown into the biggest international property event in the world since it began in 1990 with investors, authorities, occupiers, architects and many more groups of people from over 100 countries attending the four-day event.

Organised by Reed MIDEM, the event aims to give developers and investors from all areas an opportunity to exhibit their properties and forge deals in one place. The event also includes regular conferences from some of the biggest names in property development, and an awards ceremony to celebrate the best property projects over the past year.

MIPIM dedicates exhibition space to highlight projects hotel & tourism, healthcare and innovation to enhance networking opportunities and property development in these areas.

Why is MIPIM Important for Leeds City Region?

MIPIM is an opportunity for cities to present to the world exactly what they have to offer, along with the potential of the area. A report conducted last year by JLL predicted that the property market in Leeds city centre is set to grow over the next five years, and events like MIPIM will help Leeds and the City Region to assist this by gaining the attention of top property investors, persuading them to bring their business to the area.

2019’s Event

MIPIM 2019 is set to be one of the biggest events since its inception, celebrating its 30th edition. This year’s event will welcome over 26,000 participants, 3,350 exhibiting companies and 3,400 investors from over 100 countries.
